Property check out report takes place at the end of tenancy and compares the condition at that time with the original signed inventory. The report is compiled after a visual inspection by one of our clerks. Allowance is made for fair wear and tear and any maintenance issues which are the landlords responsibility are noted for information. Meter readings are taken and the correct number of keys recorded and signed for.
Ideally this should be done in the presence of the tenant as this helps to prevent disagreements when the report is completed.
